  • Amalgamation

    Over the Easter Holidays, Cabinet approved the decision for the Amalgamation of Grange Park Infant and Nursery School and Grange Park Junior School, by closing Grange Park Infant and Nursery School and extending the age range of Grange Park Junior School to form a single three-form entry foundation primary school from the 1st September 2025.

    The cabinet’s decisions come into effect from 5pm, Tuesday 22 April 2025 (5 working days), subject to the statutory scrutiny call-in process.

     

    Myself (Mrs Wade) and Mrs Madar (Junior School Headteacher) would like to give the opportunity to all parents/ carers from the Infant and Junior school to come and find out more about what the amalgamation means for you and your child.

     

    The Coffee Morning will take place in the Junior hall at 9.00am on Tuesday 6th May. We look forward to seeing you there to answer any questions that you may have.

  • Bollywood Ladies Night

    We invite parents to our upcoming fundraising event to help the school pay for extra outdoor facilities for the children.   

     

    This event promises to be an evening full of fun, laughter and celebration - our Bollywood Ladies Night!  This special event will feature music, dance and a chance for everyone to enjoy the vibrant culture of Bollywood.

     

    There will be samosas and soft drinks available but we also welcome any home cooked food if anyone would like to bring this along.

     

    This is an opportunity to come together, unwind and experience the magic of Bollywood.  Whether you're a seasoned dancer or someone who just loves to enjoy the rhythm, there will be something for everyone.

     

    We are suggesting a donation of £5-£10 (payable on the night).

    We are holding a Nursery Open Day on FRIDAY 4TH APRIL between 8.30 - 9.30am

     

    Do you have or know a child that was born between1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022?  If so, and you are considering a place in Nursery at Grange Park Infant School and would like to come and have a look around and meet some of the teachers, please register your interest using the form below.

  • World Book Day Thursday 6th March 2025!

    This year we are very excited to announce that international bestselling children’s author Karen Inglis, will be visiting Reception, Y1 and Y2 on World Book Day to share her books and talk to the children about being a writer.     In return, we are asking for a £2 contribution per child from Reception, Y1, Y2 towards the cost of these special workshops for children (payable on the day).

    Karen Inglis will also be bringing discounted personalised signed copies of her books to school on the day. If you would like to buy your child a book, please place your pre-orders online at

  • Reception & Year 1 Disco

    We are very excited to announce that we will be having a Disco Night for Reception and Year 1 on Friday 7th February.  Tickets will be £3 payable to your class teacher by Wednesday 5th February in an envelope with your child’s name and class.  Please note, we are unable to give change so please make sure you have the correct money.

     

    There will be snacks and drinks on offer.  The event will happen straight after school and will finish at 4.45pm.  Children can be collected via the Balmoral Drive entrance outside of the Reception classrooms.

  • Christmas Fayre

    We will be holding a Christmas Fayre for all children on Tuesday 3rd December.

    This will be an event that children will have the opportunity to buy toys / Christmas gloves / pencil packs / books / hot chocolate cones / cakes and much much more.

    As a thank you for any donations we receive we are also making Friday 29th November a non-school uniform day
    !

     

  • Year 2 Popcorn & Movie Night

    It is Year 2’s turn for a Popcorn & Movie Night!

     

    This will be on Friday 6th December for all Year 2 children in the Main School Hall.

     

    The cost will be £3 (due by Wednesday 4th December). We will be showing a 'U' rated movie (U certificate means it’s suitable for children aged 4 and older) and the children will be able to enjoy some popcorn and either a hot chocolate or juice.

     

    Children will go straight from their classrooms to the event and parents / carers will need to pick up at 5pm prompt in the Reception playground. The gate on Balmoral Drive will open from 4.45pm.

    If you haven’t done so already and would still like to come to the Year 1 'Popcorn and Movie' night on Friday 29th November it’s not too late to secure your place!

  • Reception School Tour - extra date added

  • Disco Night for Years 1 & 2

    Exciting announcement!

    We would like to invite all children in Years 1 & 2 to our 'Disco Night' on Thursday 14th November from 3.30 - 4.45pm.

    It will cost just £3 and included in this price is entry to the disco, a drink and snacks. Children can bring a bag with their own home clothes and sensible shoes to change into at the end of the school day.

    Parents will be asked to collect their children from the Reception classes via the Balmoral Drive gate at 5pm prompt.

    To secure a space for your child you will need to complete the following Google Form - Disco Night - Google Forms and payment will be need to be made by 12th November at the latest.

    We hope to see as many of the children there as possible for a fun packed evening!
