Breakfast Club
A breakfast club has many advantages. Studies show that eating breakfast improves children's problem solving abilities, their memory, concentration levels, visual perception and creative thinking! It is shown that attendance and punctuality improves. At our breakfast club the children have the option of eating a healthy nutritional breakfast whilst interacting with other children and adults!
Our Aims
- Grange Park Infant and Nursery School would like to provide a safe and welcoming place for children to be with other children in the mornings under the supervision of experienced and friendly staff.
- We would like to provide breakfast club where children will have the freedom to play, explore and develop new skills and give children the opportunity to interact and form friendships with others.
- We would like to provide a time for children to have a healthy balance breakfast.
- We would like to provide a chance for Parents/Carers to work outside the home and have before school provision.
- And most importantly a time to relax and have fun before the school day begins!
The school offers a Breakfast Club which is open to all pupils as and when they need it.
The club opens at 8am and costs £3 per session, taking place in the Main Hall with experienced members of staff. The children are served a warm cooked breakfast, cereal or toast with fruit and a drink. There is also a range of exciting activities, toys and games to use until the children are taken to class ready for the start of the school day.
There is no need to register or book a place for your child - simply drop in.
