Our latest Ofsted inspection took place in June 2024 and inspectors reported that we had maintained our 'Good' rating in all areas of their inspection. The report was published on 16th July 2024 - you can find the official copy along with historical reports at Ofsted's website.

Performance Data
The school is proud of the following results. They are an excellent achievement, and all children, staff and parents should be proud of their hard work. The year 2 cohort of children spent two blocks of time in lockdown during the pandemic.

Early Years Foundation Stage - Good Level of Development
At the end of the reception year the children were assessed in 12 areas of learning which make up the overall good level of development.

In 2023, 58% of children achieved the good level of development. The local average was 69% and the national average 67%.
Year 1 Phonic Screening Check

At the end of year 1, 78% of the children passed the phonic screen check. The local average was 80% and the national average was 79%. These results were broadly in line. In comparison, in 2022 the school’s results were higher than the national average and slightly lower than the local average.

The expectations are that most pupils will achieve Working at the expected standard (EXS)
In all areas of the curriculum and at all levels (except for writing at greater depth) the school scored in line or higher than the local authority and national results. There was a similar pattern in 2022.
